Bowflex Revolution Review

Is the new model worth the price?

We received many requests for a Bowflex Revolution review, as visitors are anxious to learn about the latest offering from one of the most recognized names in home gym equipment.

There is a lot of buzz surrounding this new release, as it offers new technology that reduces the noise levels during your workout, something that many users found annoying with previous models. Yet with the quieter workout comes a hefty price tag, so it may not be the best option for some people.

The new Bowflex Revolution offers SpiralFlex technology, which is a state-of-the-art resistance system with the smoothness of gym machines without the excessive weight. It involves elastic straps wrapped around coils in a small canister. Since there are no metal parts, it is much quieter.

Our Bowflex Revolution reviews reveal up to 220 pounds of resistance with an option to upgrade to 300 pounds. There are adjustable, independent arms, a built-in rowing machine, leg extension/curl, preacher for biceps, leg press plate and 5 position foot harness.

The exercise machine comes with a 10-year limited warranty, with a 6-week fitness result guarantee.

Bowflex Revolution Review - Is it worth the money?

There is no arguing that Bowflex (Nautilus) is a well-regarded company that manufacturers quality home gyms. They have been around a long time and stand behind their products.

However, at $2,499, it may be a little pricey for some. Sure, you will get a very complete workout, but you can get a decent workout with home gyms that are half the price. If money is no object, then by all means go for it, as you are assured of a high quality, dependable unit.

Some other considerations: the Bowflex Revolution is very big, so even when it's folded it takes up a lot of room; at over 240 pounds it is very heavy, and cannot be moved around very easily; it may be difficult to use for shorter individuals; upgrades to more weights will cost another $100, and many people require the increased resistance.

Fitness Events Opinion & Recommendation:

Through our Bowflex Revolution review, we discovered that it does offer a much quieter workout, and the new technology does a better job at mimicking the feel of a commercial gym exercise machine.

The question is do these improvements to previous models such as the Elite, Power Pro and Sport justify the high price tag? Perhaps. The increased quality of workout is significant enough to justify paying $300-$800 more than previous Bowflex offerings, and up to $1500 more than comparable models from other manufacturers.

Again, if money is no object, and you are looking to get a quality home gym no matter what it costs, then the Bowflex Revolution is a good choice. But if you do have a budget and are looking for a great home workout, you do have other options that won't break the bank.

If you are interested in the new Bowflex Revolution Gym they are currently offering free shipping and special finance options.

We will be adding to our Bowflex Revolution reviews as we hear more feedback from our visitors, so feel free to drop us a line.
