6th April 2004
Hello everyone! The Arnold was a great experience and
finally I was able to get my body in somewhat
presentable shape. I had a great time seeing many
familiar faces from FAP, and also meeting some new
girls at the Musclemag booth. It was a
gruelling weekend, a lot of socializing, very little sleep but I
would do it all over in a heartbeat. I was bumped
from my flight from Columbus on the way home and then
when I got home they lost my luggage. All is back to
normal and training for the Fitness Canada has been
pushed into high gear.
Last week, was a great week for my diet. I find that
I have more time on my hands when I am in training, as
sitting in front of the TV and eating is no longer an
option. I do love the tube but it is mainly to watch
certain shows only when I am not doing something else
for fitness.
I am doing workouts 7 days a week, 2 hard days and
then 1 light day is what I usually follow. The light
day is 'active rest' as I just cannot seem to stay
away from the gym during this time of training. I
also return to the gym 3 days a week for another
session of cardio or else I am practicing my routine.
I have started practicing my routine again and let me
just mention how sore I have been for the past few
days. It is not easy getting back the 'fast twitch'
that is needed for the routine. I am also working on
a new swimsuit and revamping the outfit for the
routine. I have this weekend to work on it as I have
about 7 days off for Easter Break. It is a great time
for this to happen. I need the sleep.
I will be attending the WNSO - Fitness Canada Pageant
East show on May 1st in Montreal so if you are around
you can stop by and watch the weekends festivities.
There is also bodybuilding and a model search that has
over 35+ girls already. It is really big event
leading up to the FAME weekend in Toronto - May 28th
-30th at the convention
center.
51 days (7 weeks, 2 days) until the Fitness Canada...
Until next week,
Ally
