WEEK 11 - Mar 08/04 - Mar 14/04

Monday, March 8/04

Here is what I have been doing over the couple of days:

First off Saturday - I declared it The First Annual Pre-FAME Holiday. On that special day, my diet consisted of the following:

8:00 - a whole wheat bagel with REAL cream cheese;
2 cups of hot chocolate
1 serving of optimum whey

11:00 - 2 slices of rye bread;
¼ cup peanut butter
jam

1:00 - 2 glasses of wine (practicing for dinner)
pasta with non-chicken meat
cheesecake

3:00 - a BAG of almonds
1 smirnoff ice

6:30 -
lasagna
about 20 cookies
2 pcs of cheesecake
2 glasses of red wine
1 glass of baileys
3 egg rolls
2 bananas
2 entire apples
2 oranges
10 crackers
caribou pate
2 slices pizza
jelly beans (YUM, thank Marie!!!)

My average for the day easily went over 10000 calories, but I have NO REGRETS!!!! It's worth doing FAME if only to be able to eat like this once a year!!! Talk about taking nutrition to the next level!

Yesterday I felt extremely strong (I don't know why ha ha) and it just so happened that it was time to train legs..

Here is my workout -

Leg press:

3 - 45 lb plates a side - 12 reps
4 - 45 lb plates a side - 11 reps
5 - 45 lb plates a side - 10 reps
6 - 45 lb plates a side - 9 reps
7 - 45 lb plates a side - 8 reps
8 - 45 lb plates a side - 6 cheat reps

*My B/F made me wear those rubber bands around my knees to help prevent injury. To boost my confidence, he and a few of his friends surrounded the leg press in the event that I needed help. I was TERRIFIED pressing so much weight and as a result I did not press all the way down - but STILL I was soooo happy to be able to push myself this far

Final Blow - Leg Press Drop-Set (The guys were taking off the plates for me
to ensue minimal rest between drops)

5 - 45 lb plates a side - 4 reps
4 - 45 lb plates a side - 4 reps
3 - 45 lb plates a side - 4 reps
2 - 45 lb plates a side - 4 reps


Sqats - again I had my knees wrapped for extra support

45 lbs per side - 12 reps
90 lbs per side - 8 reps
90 lbs per side - 8 reps

Leg X

Set 1 - drop set - 90 lb/8 - 60 lb/10 - 45 lb/12
Set 2 - 90 lb /12
Set 3 - 105 lb / 10
Set 4 - drop set - 150 lb / 4 - 120 lb / 4 - 90 lb / 4 - 60 lb / 4

I am having great difficulty walking today and my lower back is sore, but all in all I feel pretty good so far. The true DOMS usually hits me two days later but based on the way I feel already I know I'm going to be regretting what I did...

Today I took a break from lifting and did 45 minutes on the elliptical machine instead...

I don't know why everyone was looking at me weird all day today... All I did was practise my walk of FAME... First, the lady at the gym, then my colleagues at work, then even my own boyfriend!!! Finally I had enough and locked myself in the bathroom for some quality alone time.... I've had enough of the attitude...

Is there ANYTHIG wrong with these pictures?????
