As I write this post I'm gulping down one of the nitro-tech juicy types of protein drinks (this time in grape!) They are pretty darned good! Again the weekend went really badly (food-wise). I don't know what else to say there, so I'll just leave it at that!!! Now, on to better things, today I've eaten clean and just got back from a leg and shoulder workout. Usually I wouldn't do these together, but I missed my shoulder workout over the weekend, so I added it on today. I also did 45 minutes of cardio while watching Dr. Phil (not quite my choice, but...) I'm starting to want to do cardio first thing in the morning and weights later on, but I don't want to go to the gym twice, I'm seriously starting to think about getting a treadmill for my home for early morning workouts before leaving. That would be amazing! We'll see! I'm off to teach two dance classes at my studio now!

Last night my boyfriend didn't want to drive into Toronto from his place in Mississauga cause of all the crazy snow & ice we have here in Toronto, so he ended up taking the subway, which ended up meaning I had to meet him near the subway and we went to a restaurant instead of eating at home... I thought I could still do semi-good with my eating, but once I saw nachos on the menu, I caved!!! Yep, I had nachos and cheese and sour cream!!! All my other meals yesterday were great, but this just screwed my day up... I felt quite ill after eating them, which is kind of cool - I find whenever I eat bad food after eating lots of good food consistently it makes me feel sick! That's neat and should keep me on the right path!
I just got back from the gym - today I just did cardio (45 minutes), as well as some ab work, and of course stretching. I've finally made the decision - I know it sucks a bit, but I'm not going to be ready for the Halifax show, so I'm just going to really concentrate my efforts on preparing in a more reasonable time-frame and train for FAME in May.

Today I went to the gym early and did a heavy chest and triceps workout (OUCH!) Then I did 45 minutes of cardio. After working out I rushed to the store where I get my protein drinks to find they don't open until 10am! So I checked at another health food store nearby and they weren't open either! Oh no! So, an hour later I've had my protein drink, but I feel it was so long after my workout it's probably not all that effective... I really must find a gymnastics class to go to weekly for my routine...

Well, Thursdays are definitely not my favourite days usually because I have way too much to do on Thursdays! Well, today has gotten even more crazy than usual!!! Right before teaching my bellydance class at my studio at noon, I got a call from Toronto One's 'Toronto Today' television show and they're coming tomorrow morning from 5:30 - 9:00am to shoot about 7 live segments through the morning from my studio. This is great - I need the promotion, but the hard part is - now I have to find students to be in this too (and who wants to get up, get to my studio, and be ready to be seen on tv for 5:30am?) Needless to say I'm not sure if I'll be able to do my cardio workout today. I have to teach two classes at Ryerson University tonight - oh maybe I'll squeeze cardio in while I'm there (after my class). Then I have to get my beauty sleep before getting up at 4:00AM tomorrow morning!!! And I am SO not a morning person!

The taping yesterday went very well and now I'm working on getting prepared for another next Friday on Breakfast Television... me and some students will be doing Retro 80's Dancersize in full Jane Fonda 80's gear! Anyways, I'm back to the gym today (I missed two days of working out!) and good eating (yesterday after the taping I had a big pancake breakfast)! I'm going to do my groceries tonight and be totally ON by tomorrow!!! Eventhough I didn't work-out, I did work on some strength moves yesterday and my shoulders and arms are KILLING me!
