Well, today started out great (clean eating and hard workout), then the eating just went out the window!!! I ate pretty bad tonight... as I was eating my Lucky Charms cereal (yes, it was that bad!), I was trying to think about why? why? why do I do this to myself? Tonight, I think I felt sore, tired, and overworked and I wanted to indulge myself somehow and food was the easiest way! BAD! I think this is often why I eat bad things, so I've decided to indulge myself in other (non-fattening) ways, like tomorrow I've finally booked a massage - yeah!!! And, if I do really great all week, I've decided to either buy myself some nice expensive Lululemon workout clothes, get a pedicure, get my hair done, buy a book, etc. Yes, it will be more expensive than a box of Lucky Charms or a bag of Fritos, but it will be worth it!!! My workout today was great... I did 40 minutes of cardio plus back, biceps, and abs:

BACK:
High Lat Pulldowns (wide bar) - 4 sets of 12 reps
Lat Pulls on Stability Ball - 3 sets of 10 reps
Low Lat Row (wide bar) - 3 sets of 10 reps

BICEPS:
Barbell Bicep Curls 21's - 4 sets
Preacher Hammer Curls - 3 sets of 10
Incline Supinating Curls - 3 sets of 10

ABS/CORE:
Oblique Twists (on decline ab board)
1/2 & 1/4 Crunches (on decline ab board)
Alternating Cycling Legs (on incline ab board)
Reverse Crunch (on incline ab board)
Side Hovers (up & down fast, slow, & hold)
Regular Hovers
Reverse Back Extensions on Roman Chair

That's it for me! I'm not supposed to do any working out tomorrow, but I ate so badly, that I feel I have to go in for some cardio! Bye!

I didn't work-out today, I was resting my sore muscles... plus I got a massage which was heaven for my poor, aching body! My massage therapist told me I have too much fire in my personality/body and I should take deeper breathes, more epson salt baths, eat cooling foods, surround myself with lavender, and stop the bikram (hot) yoga! It was a little funny... but I'll try anything to get more relaxed! Today, my eating was pretty good… except for dinner… and desert! (uh oh!) I'm blaming my Big, Fat, Greek dinner on my boyfriend completely! ha ha ha! I'm scared to find out how many calories I ate, so I didn't go to fitday.com as I usually do for every day (I know I should face the truth, but...)

Just got back from my workout and I feel great! I worked chest, triceps, abs, and did HARD cardio! Here's what I did:

CHEST:
dumb bell chest press - 4 sets of 10 - 12 reps
incline dumb bell flyes - 3 sets of 8 - 10 reps
machine chest press - 3 sets of 10 reps

TRICEPS:
one-arm tricep push-downs - 4 sets of 12 reps
standing overhead tricep extensions - 3 sets of 10 reps
barbell french press - 3 sets of 10 reps

ABS:
(same as Monday)

I felt good because I've really gone up in strength for chest since I started my strength-building phase! I did 40 minutes of hard cardio (I was watching a Much Music profile on Jennifer Lopez, which kept me going!)

Just got back from working out. I got in there early today because I have to teach a noon-time class and it felt good to be at the gym by 8:00am, I think I'll try to do that more often! Today I did legs (yuck, I hate training legs!) and 50 minutes of hard cardio. My eating is going to be so very clean from now on!!! It's been here and there/good and bad, but I've decided that I have to put my foot down and be REALLY clean now! I’ve been noticing recently that my protein drinks are making me sick to my stomach, it doesn’t always happen, but when it does happen it's SO bad... yesterday was one of those days, I hadn't even finished the whole bottle of Nitro-Tech, when all of a sudden I felt total nausea... unfortunately the only thing that made me feel a bit better was eating an english muffin with peanut butter (something solid, I guess) So, I'm going to still drink a protein drink after my muscle workouts (just less of it - half a bottle maybe).

For the past few days I’ve drank only half the bottle of the Nitro-Tech along with something solid like ½ an English muffin with peanut butter and that has seemed to be ok (but I don’t want to eat bread products, so it kinda sucks!) Maybe I’ll try a different type of protein shake, but I’ve always had a problem with the taste of any protein drink other than these juicy types I’m drinking now (as opposed to creamy types). It’s too sad because I finally found some that I can actually get down, but now the sickness they give me is just too much to deal with! Anyways onto brighter topics… I just got back from a really intense workout… back, biceps, shoulders, abs/core, cardio (only reason I did so many bodyparts today was because I know I’ll never get to the gym tomorrow or Sunday – too busy!) I finally got some gloves so I won’t have such disgusting and hurt hands with blisters from lifting heavy! I’m finally getting my hair coloured again today (it’s been WAY too long!) Not sure what I’ll get done, but I think it has to be a little more practical and long-lasting than what I got done last time (looked great for a week and then look like garbage for the rest of the time!) I have tons of work to get done during the day, but then I have a night off tonight!!! Which is good because I’ll be nonstop all weekend!
