So, I haven't been anywhere near my computer for a few days! My boyfriend has been spoiling me rotten by hanging out with me a lot more than usual and taking me to decadent, amazing, romantic dinners (uh oh!) Yes, two nights in a row we've gone to great fancy restaurants... Sunday we went to 360 in the CN Tower where I had lobster (it wasn't too bad diet-wise because they don't give you much of anything there - for example, with the lobster came two spears of asparagus and 3 small potato balls) Then last night he took me to La Castille in
Mississauga (which I love!) I can't say the portions were small at all there (I always have to take half my dinner home from there) I had some giant shrimps and scallops along with WAY too much bread and some champagne. Aside from these amazing dinners, my daytime eating has been great. And I'm pretty sure he won't be surprising me with another outing tonight, so tonight will be good (I still have tons of seafood from last night to eat tonight!) I just did a heavy chest and triceps workout, plus 40 minutes of cardio. My workout was very hard today because 1) I forgot my workout plan at home and I had to do it all by memory, and 2) my lower back is killing me for some reason!

Oh, I'm feeling so terrific! I've been eating good and it's already showing on my body which is always encouraging! Today is my rest day from the gym (thank goodness, cause my back is still killing me!)
Here is my diet from yesterday:

- 4 egg whites
- 1 plum
- oatmeal to-go bar
- green tea
10:00 - 12:00 - WORKOUT!

- 1/2 Nitro-Tech protein drink
- whole wheat rice cake with peanut butter
3:30pm
- 4 giant scallops
- 1 giant shrimp
- broccoli & asparagus
7:00pm
- 1/2 cup skim cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup applesauce
9:30pm
- 4 giant scallops
- 1/2 chicken breast
- a few noodles (not too many though)
- salad

Today is so very hectic, but I thought I'd take some time out to write about it all here! I taught my class at 12:00 today, just finished working out (shoulders, forearms, and cardio), now I'm cooking up some chicken breasts for a few days and trying to catch up on some work. In about an hour, I will be leaving to teach two more classes, after the classes I hope to get home to catch up on some more work and maybe watch hardbodz on MTV (how all the big stars keep their great bods!) I ate good yesterday (a few too many carbs), but it was good for me! Here it is:
10:00am (got up nice and late!)
- 1/2 cup skim cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup applesauce

- lean ground turkey chili
- 1 plum
3:00pm
- 1/2 chicken breast
- rice cake with peanut butter
5:30pm
- 1/2 skim cottage cheese

- 1 tangerine

- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1 cup low-fat soy granola (I've decided to not buy this anymore... not that it's awful for me, but I always end up pigging out on it late at night - right when I don't need all those carbs!)

I got soaked in the rain today, now I'll be wet all day (teaching, working out, etc.) - of course this had to be the one day that I'm not lugging around a hundred different outfits for the day in my backpack! Oh well, I thought I had tonight off and was going to try to go to a wedding show with my boyfriend because our wedding is fast approaching (Sept. 04) and we haven't done a thing!!! But then I remembered I have a show! I was really looking forward to a free night, but oh well, I guess making money is good too! I just feel like my weekends are so so busy that I need Friday night free so I can have a bit of relaxation! Not tonight though! Here is my diet from yesterday:

My carbs to protein ratio was so perfect before I screwed it up with the easter egg at the end there! But, at least my calories were still under 2000. I read an article Marta Mathews posted on the WNSO forum which was off abcbodybuilding.com (13 weeks to hardcore fat burning) and I think I'm going to also start that this Monday. But, how will I live without my fruit? I'll have to find a way! I just got back from my workout... I did back, biceps, and cardio. I only did 36 minutes of cardio (I wanted to do 45 minutes at least), but I was just feeling really burnt out by 36 minutes! I bought some glutamine and chromium so I can get serious with supplements and diet on Monday. My eating has been good so far today, but I don't know what will happen tonight... my boyfriend's picking me up from my show at 10 tonight and we'll probably go out to a movie or dinner (either activity could be dangerous diet-wise!)

I can't believe I'm actually sitting still
finally! This weekend has been extremely busy (but, then again, what's new?) I taught and performed a lot, worked on fitness stuff, checked out a bridal show, and now I'm here at the computer trying to catch up on some work! My eating was pretty amazing for a weekend! And with no effort whatsoever! Mainly because I was stuck at my studio for about 8 hours each day, so I'm isolated from any badness! I bring my chicken, egg whites, and veggies to the studio and then I barely have time to eat anything anyways. So it's been pretty good! Tomorrow I will stop eating fruit and any other little things that aren't amazing for getting me lean (granola bars, etc.) and I'm going to add some more cardio into my days... probably on an empty stomach in the morning
I'm not a huge fan of it, but if it get's great results than I'm in! Now I'm off to do groceries and plan my meals for tomorrow!
