Woah boy, it has been a very long and gruelling three months. This is the most disciplined I have ever been and I am very proud of myself, especially for the fact that I am THE biggest junk-food junkie and DID NOT cheat at all this time around. I was on double time. It's so crazy seeing how much I actually leaned out. It wasn't easy. My weakest will always be in my shoulders, but hey, everyone has their downfall and I just have to keep working hard and I will eventually get there. I tell ya though, it feels really great when people come up to me and say, "Wow you have shoulders now." At least I have them now, evidently they were previously non-existent..ha ha.

So, this weekend was SUPER FITNESS WEEKEND! In Connecticut. I competed in Ms. Bikini Atlantic and I placed 3rd~ Rollin Rollin Rollin`I am very pleased with my placing, I feel very grateful for being in the top five and I will tell you that the competition was on FIRE~ Everyone had a different physique and they all looked phenomenal period. I made many new friends and got to chat with many of my first timer friends as well, it was an awesome show thanks to Brian (smiles) and we had a really good turnout as well.

Once again I have to thank Ritch and Mia Finnegan for all of their help and motivation, I would not have made the physical changes without you, and I mean that, you guys are so down to earth and inspiring. Cathy and Linda for the extra push pre-contest, it helped so much to go over everything beforehand, it got a lot of the jitters out. To my husband whom I have no idea how he puts up with me, especially like the two weeks before the show, I can get so snappy, I am sorry..I love you. You are my other half and I would no doubt fall to pieces without you. I am what I am because of you. My kids, who crack me up..  My five yr old told me before I left for the contest "Mommy, I know you will win the 1st place because you are the prettiest mommy in the whole school!" See now that is what can pull you through standing on stage during comparisons for what seems like forever. And to all the girls who competed, new and old. This was the finest group of competitors I have seen at any show I have done and I am glad to know all of you. www.Tishafit.com
